Interests: A couple of sports such as basketball, and a little bit of soccer, hockey, baseball and track & field. Listening to music (would provide a list however too many bands and at the fact that I listen by ear and not by name). I guess playstation two, however I haven't really played it in awhile, well there goes my hand-eye coordination... Tea, its really good from iced tea to bubble tea to herbal tea. Writing, despite my poor English, I make an effort to try to ameliorate however that doesn't seem to be the case. Anything science-related is usually fun, and thats pretty much where my interests end. Not many really...

I'm back...

Well after being seperated from xanga for just over two months, I've come back. But posts aren't going to be too frequent and that may also apply to comments as well as this thing called the "IB" has come to consume the majority of my time so yeah. Yes, I do realize that I did promise you all comments on my day off and I know haven't been on here for awhile, so first off, sorry for no comments on my dayoff. I've had so many opportunities to do so, except I haven't exactly come around to actually writing them. But I will write them sometime. Keyword = sometime.

As for summer, nothing has really been what I have been up to. Work at the store is half my week where the other half is to either do chores or do something of some sort. Let's see, I'll give you all an in-depth analysis of how my summer went...

late June:
  • (In between exams) Went to Saskatoon for my cousin's wedding
  • Attended a surprise party where we ate at Mandarin, played bball, played some video related games and a movie.
  • Worked two jobs where the hours occupied 11/14 of my 'awake' time.
  • Was relieved of the restaurant job *phew*
  • Worked some more at the store.
  • That's pretty much it. Aside from going to the mall from time to time.
July:
  • Worked some more at the store.
  • Went to Confederation Park at some point but there wasn't much to do since it was raining
  • Work hours went down
  • Went to Nathan's house.
  • Went to Lantern Festival w/ Olivia & Ben.
  • Worked some more at the store.
  • Probably some other family friend get-togethers that I probably forgot about.
August:
  • Worked some more at the store.
  • Filipino Dance Group Party.
  • Internet broke down
  • PS2 broke down
  • ^^ grr...
  • Went to Yorkdale w/ Nathan
  • Went to CNE w/ Olivia & Ben.
  • Went to Ben's house for the weekend where we then went to SQ1 and to a restaurant where it was a deformed 'Cottage Reunion'.
  • Went to Used Book Drop-Off and Sale (waited there for hours! literally)
  • Went to JLau's house.
  • Got Internet back at some point. (but much later -_-')
September:
  • Went to La Mexicana for Lunch. (so goooooodd.....)
  • Worked my last day of work for the summer.
  • Now I sit here.
  • In one day: School
Speaking of school....Here's my schedule, if you're really curious to know how it's like and the teachers are as follows...

Comments to come for all of you, please be patient, I'll be giving you all decent length comments when my next dayoff comes seeing that my hours extend from 9 AM to 8 PM. Technically, I could have just posted a comment by now, however I'll save my thoughts for whenever that dayoff comes and it'll be just like receiving a room full of presents on Christmas day! See you all later.

Take care,

I'm shutting down my Xanga account

Hi, it's me. Me as in the owner and writer for this account and weblog. If you're reading this, well hello to you and here's more information on my status with this site. Well, as you can tell by the looks of my header, I'm shutting down my xanga account. I'm giving it about a week or two before I actually consider to delete it. A heads up to all of those who have come here to read my entries or to post comments. Will I be getting another weblog but from a different site? No, I will not be. You can try to search me on any weblog place, you probably won't be able to find me, unless I made an account there and totally forgot about it. Well, yes that is the main purpose of this post.

Aside from the news stated above, life's been swell. Level 3 is over therefore the forthcoming of IB is awaiting. Well, in the meantime, I'll try to enjoy the summer before school starts, I still have a little over 2 months remaining so what's not to like about it (maybe the excruicaitingly hot weather  although that could be solved with a little something called air conditionning, hehe ). Anywho, nothing really planned for the summer, working at the restaurant but that's all. Summer school's gonna wait for next year so that physics is a lot more fresh in mind when university comes around.

Work at the restaurant isn't that bad. My first day there, I was only supposed to be a server but that was very short-lived since I had only served like one or two customers that day and they wanted me to watch what they did so that the next day I would be able to do it without question. Soooo that day was pretty much just me sitting and watching and yeah... Ooh, well actually something to add... I cooked! Hehe, yep. Nothing burnt and nothing undercooked! Hehe, take that Ben, I can cook! I was gonna take a picture of the dish that I prepared however....a) I didn't have my camera since my sis had it. b) people devoured it in a matter of minutes. c) I only thought about taking a picture of it after it was served. My dad came a bit later that day to cook some fish. Seeing that I also cooked fish and that these were the only fish entrees, there was a bit of competition! . His marinated kingfish against my seasoned sole fillet. And to keep a long story short, I got demolished seeing that the majority of the people there like kingfish more than any other food in the world. :: sigh :: I still have more cook training to do!!!

Hmm, well I'll end the post right here. Hope that you're all having a great summer where ever you all may be. And that it continues to be that way! And by the way I'm not actually going to shut my account down, the title and opening paragraph were merely used to draw your attention to reading more and to perhaps lead you to even post a comment. This is also a small a little test for ben to see if he will actually read the entire post since he always skims and never reads the post as a whole. Well anywho, hope to see you all sometime over the summer! Bye Bye!

Take care,
wlegolasw

It's almost over...

Well, level three is wrapping up rather soon and with the end of classes come exams! AH! Okay, so SIX days of class left for the ultimate review cramming for most classes, ie English, Chemistry, Math, Geography and Drama. And then I have to go to my cousin's wedding in Saskatchewan on the weekend between exams so I'll get very little studying done. I'll be lugging my school bag on the plane to and from Saskatchewan.

Next year is gonna be so horrible. Actually. All the good teachers are leaving. I was considering taking physics as a seventh instead of having to take it over the summer but now that Mr. Khan's leaving, I dunno if I should talk to guidance about adding physics into my level 4/5 courses or if I should just ask Frisson to sign my summer school application. I'm probably too late anyway, so either next year summer school or add physics to the mix and do horribly without Mr. K.

Happy 16th Birthday Pat!

Hehe, yeah, that is IF you do see it. Hehe, well aside from all that, life's all right. It's been treating me pretty well so I can't complain. Funny how things work in life. Mathematically, infinity is supposed to mean a number that is unbounded, without having a defined limit and such. Usually infinity is described as being the largest number known to humanity although it expresses an indefinitive number. But suppose we ask how many numbers there are in the universe. Well, simple, thats Infinite.  But how many odd numbers are there in the universe. Simple again, Infinte.  Which is largest? Well we would instinctively say that its the first case (that of all the numbers) but if it equals infinte and the second case also equals infinite then the assumption of the following would be made (which is technically wrong):

All Numbers = Infinite.
All Odd Numbers = Infinite.
Infinite = Infinite
hence....All Numbers = All Odd Numbers

Okay, well that's my quick little update. And hope that all of your weekends are more productive than that of mine and that you're all enjoying them!

Take care,
wlegolasw

Seems like forever

Well, more like a month. Haven't been here for quite some time so I decided to fill you in on some recent events or lack there of. Well, this week, I'm back to eating candy! Hehe, my 40-day sacrifice has already come to a close and you know what that means? High sugar levels! Hehe, jks, I've only had two small packs of gummy bears so far and that's as far as my candy eating has gone.

School seems so bland now since there are no more extra-curricular activities for me. Midsummer ended two months ago and same with basketball, so it feels like the only thing to look forward to are the weekends or long weekends and soon enough, the summer. Ooh, summer! But that's going a little too far considering that spring is only a month old.

Not really looking forward to May...So many assignments and homework / an indication that exams are about to come. Well at least my birthday is within that month, so I'll have at least one bright spot.

Well enough about the future, as for the present (ie today), it was actually pretty fun and some what humorous. I started off with Math where Seltzer assigned us some problems to do in class, however we drifted way off topic and talked about stuff like the war in Iraq, the cities of Canada and how Seltzer actually came to Toronto. And then, I don't remember how, Mr. Seltzer was gonna give us dating tips but that got cut short when we learnt that there was an assembly. But we did hear one tip though which happened to be:

Make sure that on your very first date, you take your date to a movie. But make sure the movie is really bad so that everything goes wrong. And if your date didn't enjoy themselves, just blame it on the movie and move on.

Dunno how that works but I guess whatever floats his boat. Anywho, at the assembly our headmaster discussed the tragedy of student's parent. That was pretty tear-filled for some of the level 4s (Flag was at half-mass). Then physics, where the learning is always fun (Mr K.: You memorise! I kill you!). Then had spare where I played soccer with the gym class. Lunch then came where we ate outside for the most part but then went back in due to the cold. Then came french where I finished up my commentaire. Agh, 1002 words... Way too long... Afterwards came chemistry where our teacher actually let us do nothing. She let us talk and do whatever we wanted within the confines of the class and at a small voice. Then came drama where Seltzer subbed and he just let us all talk. Hehe, pointless last periods. Then came home and got changed to go to the mall. Went to the mall to get some bubble tea and to get some school supplies. Now I'm here, a few hours later. Changed my page up quite a bit.

Well that's about it in the life of moi. Hope you all have a great weekend! Talk to you all soon!!

Take care,
wlegolasw
